Report Features

Other than view the reports in Tabular Format, you can also do the following:

  1. Export the Report to Excel.
  2. Print the Report to your LPR Dot-Matrix Printer (requires configuration by MIS).
  3. Print the Report to your Local Printer (Print HTML File)
  4. Save the Report in HTML Format.

Export the Report to Excel

To export the report to Excel:

  1. Right Click on "Export to Excel". A dropdown menu will appear.
  2. Select "Save Target As" from the Dropdown Menu. This will bring up the "Save As" Menu.
  3. Enter a Name for your Report in the "File Name" section. Make sure the file name ends with ".csv".
  4. Next to "Save as type", select "All Files".
  5. Click on "Save" to Save.

Print to LPR Dot Matrix Printer

To print to LPR Dot Matrix Printer, simply click on "Print Report". However, this assumes that your LPR Printer has been configured. To select/change/configure an LPR printer:
  1. Go to the "Report Viewer" on optimalOne. This is the page with the list of available reports for you to run.
  2. On the far right of the reports table, there is a "Edit Printer" button. Click on this button for the selected report.
  3. Follow the instructions for setting a printer. If no printers are available, contact your MIS/ICT Services representative.

Print to Local Printer

To print to your local Laserjet or Inkjet Printer:

  1. Click on "File" on the Web Browser.
  2. Select "Print". This will bring up the "Print" Menu.
  3. Select the Printer and other Print Settings.
  4. Click on "Print" to Print.

Save Report in HTML Format

To save to your in HTML format:

  1. Click on "File" on the Web Browser.
  2. Select "Save As". This will bring up the "Save Web Page" Menu.
  3. Enter a Name for your Report in the "File Name" section.
  4. Next to "Save as type", select "Web Page, HTML only(*.htm;*,html)".
  5. Click on "Save" to Save.
